Modern slavery statement

Last updated: October 2026

Our structure and business

Covextra is a technology company building the trusted execution layer for enterprise AI compute: an exchange on which enterprises buy AI compute from independent providers, and the orchestration and confidential computing that let every workload prove where and how it ran.

We are committed to ensuring that our business operations and supply chains are free from modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and prison labour. This statement sets out our approach to identifying and addressing these risks.

Our supply chain

Our supply chain consists mainly of software and cloud services, data-centre capacity and the hardware it runs on. Hardware manufacturing, including the mining of the minerals that semiconductors depend on, is where we consider the risk of modern slavery to be highest, and it is where our due diligence concentrates.

Policies on modern slavery and human trafficking

Covextra has adopted policies designed to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. These include:

  • Ethical sourcing policy: our suppliers are required to comply with this policy, ensuring that they do not engage in forced labour, prison labour, child labour or human trafficking.
  • Whistleblowing policy: employees and stakeholders are encouraged to report any concerns related to modern slavery, without fear of retaliation.
  • Code of conduct: we expect our employees and suppliers to adhere to high ethical standards and to uphold human rights.

Risk assessment

We map our operations and supply chains to identify regions, industries and types of supplier with a higher risk of modern slavery. This includes assessing geography, industry sector, workforce demographics and sourcing practices. Risk assessments are repeated regularly and whenever we take on a new category of supplier.

Due diligence

We carry out due diligence on our suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with our policies and with relevant legislation. This includes:

  • Supplier review: regular reviews to verify compliance with our ethical standards.
  • Provider onboarding: compute providers who join the Covextra Exchange confirm their compliance with our ethical sourcing policy as a condition of participation.
  • Third-party assessments: where appropriate, we rely on independent assessments of our suppliers' practices.

Training and awareness

Covextra provides training to employees to raise awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking. This training covers:

  • Identifying the signs of modern slavery
  • Reporting mechanisms for suspected cases
  • Company policies and procedures related to ethical sourcing

Commitment to ethical pay

We are committed to fair treatment and fair wages for our employees and for those within our supply chain. We aim to pay wages that reflect the cost of living and support a decent standard of living, as part of our broader commitment to ethical labour practices.

Internal accountability

We make employees and senior management aware of the importance of legal compliance and ethical operations. Our code of conduct sets out our responsibilities and applies to all personnel as well as to third-party suppliers.

Continuous improvement

We are committed to improving our approach to combating modern slavery continuously: reviewing our policies, updating our risk assessments, and engaging with stakeholders to learn from their feedback and practice.
